Roaming: Commission withdraws 90 day roaming limit
European Liberals and Democrats in the European Parliament strongly welcome the Commission’s decision to withdraw their proposal to limit free roaming to 90 days.

EU- Canada PNR agreement: Advice to European Court re-affirms legal concerns
The Advocate General of the European Court of Justice has today stated that the EU- Canada PNR agreement cannot be signed in its current form. Sophie In’t Veld, ALDE Group first vice-president and European Parliament’s rapporteur for the agreement, hopes that the Court will present the final opinion as soon as possible as the agreement cannot be adopted if the Court confirms that certain provisions of the agreement breach the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.

Roaming charges: European Commission must deliver on its promises – Draft implementing act defining fair use as only 90 days should be torn up-
The Liberal and Democrat Group in the European Parliament have discussed the news that the European Commission will propose an exemption to the ban on roaming surcharges planned for 2017.
