EPP, S&D and ALDE to form a stable majority in the EP for the next European Commission
The agreement of 24 June between the EPP and S&D groups, relating to ongoing discussions on key EP positions, will now be extended to the ALDE Group, ensuring a broader base for building a stable majority for the next European Commission.

Verhofstadt: Assad’s chemical attacks – France and Britain must publish new evidence and act
There is proof that Syria’s Bashar Al Assad has been using chemical weapons again against the Syrian population. Today it was reported that France and Britain have hard evidence of several chemical attacks since October 2013. The evidence was collected on the ground in Syria by French, American and British agents. However, for some reason, they refuse to make the evidence public.
