EP economic governance report obsolete after Five Presidents’ Plan
The ALDE Group believes Parliament’s report on economic governance (Berès report) has become obsolete after the more ambitious Five Presidents’ report and will therefore propose to send it back to committee to change the text fundamentally. If the other Groups insist on a vote, the ALDE Group will not participate, to express its strong disagreement with this report.
