Slovak Presidency: ALDE calls for a “quick reform of the Union”
Commenting the speech of Robert Fico, Wednesday, about the incoming EU Slovak Presidency, during the European Parliament plenary session in Strasbourg, Pavel Telicka (ANO, Czech Republic), underlined the dramatic situation in Europe following the UK referendum and said: “Let me tell you Mr Prime Minister that this time, we are not at a crossroad anymore!
We are in political dead end and the last thing we need is blaming and shaming, we need a joint effort. The signals from the Council are so far the worst we could hope for, I am glad you today deviated from this line”.
