EU funds: ALDE MEP Martina Dlabajová leads fact-finding mission to Southern Italy
From the 18th to the 20th July, ALDE MEP Martina Dlabajová will lead a fact-finding mission of the Budgetary Control Committee (CONT) to Southern Italy to investigate the use of the European Social Fund (ESF), with particular reference to the Youth employment initiative (YEI) and Youth Guarantee.

Suite à l’acte de pure barbarie commis à Nice au soir du 14 juillet, l’Alliance des démocrates et des libéraux pour l’Europe présente ses sincères condoléances aux familles et aux proches des victimes, et tient à marquer son soutien au peuple français dans cette nouvelle épreuve.
Guy Verhofstadt a déclaré : “Je suis choqué par l’attaque barbare commise à Nice le 14 juillet. Tant d’innocents sont morts. C’est une attaque contre les valeurs françaises, qui sont aussi nos valeurs européennes: Liberté, Egalite et Fraternité. Mes pensées vont aux victimes et à leurs familles”.

Israeli NGO Bill harms democracy and limits the activities of human rights defenders
The NGO Law voted by the Knesset, which applies to any Israeli organisation that receives more than half of its funding from foreign state sources, including from the EU and UN, will strongly impact the activities of these entities.
